Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Therapy uses the properties of water instead of weights and impact. It can be used to rehabilitate patients after injury or those with chronic illness while avoiding the amount of weight put on the joints by exercises outside of the water.

At Lead Changes Therapy Services, our Aquatic Therapy program is a one on one treatment based program. It begins with a formalized assessment resulting in the creation of short and long term goals. This is followed by the scheduling of weekly session designed to achieve and maintain a healthy and meaningful lifestyle after formal therapy has ended.

Many different conditions can benefit with aquatic therapy, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Sensory Process Disorder
  • Post Surgical/Rehab
  • Developmental or Learning Disability
  • Mental Illness
  • Orthopedic Patients
  • And many, many more!
